Petitioner: Rugrats Fan101 started on November 10, 2012

*To Petitioners* I strongly urge you to not only
sign this petition, but also spread the word so that the publicity for this
soars through the roof. I recommend posting it on Facebook, making a tweet, and posting the URL for this petition to websites related to this topic. NOTICE: This is a petition to get inform Nickelodeon of our love for the old 90’s shows and to get this reality TV crap (IMO) out of NICK. I have two proposals. My first proposal is to ask Nickelodeon to make a new channel that is available on BASIC CABLE called “Nick Classics.” My Second proposal is to renew the contract with DNA Productions, Klasky Csupo, posting it on Facebook, making a tweet, and posting the URL for this petitionto websites related to this topic. *To Viacom/Nickelodeon* I know of the present “90’s
All that” on Teen Nick, but I’m not going to pay money for something that only happens once a week. It’s about time that you make a channel that is free like Nick, and has only the 90’s shows and/or the new episodes for those 90’s shows. One more thing, I mean no
disrespect towards you or your company, but what the heck are adults going to know about shows for kids. I have never seen a poll for us to decide what the new shows are going to be, and what old shows should air. OUR VOICE SHOULD BE HEARD!

My propositions are simple and will result in happy viewers and investors. Nickelodeon is mostly about maximizing profit from its shows and we are smart enough to realize it. The thing is, I have never seen them advertise the Rugrats seasons on DVD that released last year. I’m just saying, how do you expect to make money if you don’t showcase your new products(dvds). On a personal note, I think you should be selling merchandise for you shows (both new and old). I am still searching for the 1999 Rugrats cereal because that was something I missed cause I was two at the time. These things make a difference.

Going back on subject, what would be cooler than a
channel called “Nick Classics.” It would contain nothing but the old 90’s and early 2000’s shows. I want my petition to be supported by facts and not only opinions. My first fact is, that Rugrats at over 6.5 million likes while Victorious only has 5.5million. Rugrats wasn’t even around for the newest generation so I would expect a 10-15% increase if it were to premiere again. That just shows you how much the new shows suck. Nick Classics is a way to establish a bond towards the older audience as well as the newest generation. The channel would bring in more profits even though it is free because it will appeal to a wider audience that would watch it and get addicted to it (like me). A classic is a classic. The viewings in the past might be low, but 8-10 years have passed and I believe once you start making new episodes that will air, it will regain publicity and regain its former glory.

My second proposition is re-establishing contracts with the major production companies of the past that were listed in the first paragraph, last sentence. Even Arlene Klasky said she is fine with making a 10th season for Rugrats, but it is up to nick(found in the nick exclusive url listed below). If you look at Klasky Csupo’s youtube channel, they aired there pilotsthat got 98% likes in most cases. That tells us two things. One, Animation shows are still in and that reality tv is kind of out. Two that this could lead to major profits due to its popularity and likes. The saying that represents this case the best is, you got to spend money, to make money. It’s time to invest in these companies and give them a chance to accomplish the big time again. If you support everything written above, please sign this petition in support of it.
